Just got hired as a pharmacy technician. A couple of questions..

First, regarding applications. I'm planning to add this position in my PharmCAS application so it looks better. Do you think it would make much of a difference in terms of my competitiveness? Also, I want to submit my application soon but I don't start my job for several weeks. Would it look bad if I put down 0 hours for the hours during span of experience section?

Next, I was just wondering if you had any advice for starting my first pharmacy technician job. It's at a CVS.

You have the option of waiting until you get some hours done and then submitting your application. 0 hours looks... weird. But I guess you can explain it during interviews if they ask.

It'd be nice to add your position. It'll make you a notch above those like you but without experience in the field.

Advice: try not to get overwhelmed. You'll figure everything out in time.

There's a pretty good chance the interviewer will ask "how are you preparing yourself for pharmacy school?" Just mention it then. They might phrase it differently.

No one actually checks, make sure u don't get fired. But it really helped me in my case, in which working 40 hrs one year after graduation... So exp helped me a lot
