It would be nice to hear from people who have recently completed a PGY1 residency or maybe from those just about to complete a residency on how the job market is as far as obtaining jobs right after PGY1...
Are you able to find your ideal job in a decent location? Is there a lot of competition in getting clinical jobs? I have heard some people say many clinical positions have over 10 well-qualified individuals applying for that position? Do you have to be pretty much willing to move anywhere?
I would like to hear honestly what one can expect as far as jobs after completing PGY1.
