Its American affiliate, IFMSA-USA, is the only national professional student organization exclusively focused on global health.

Students who attend the IFMSA-USA national convention, will leave with the tools necessary to pursue their own international health interests whether they be completing an international health elective/summer project or becoming active (nationally or internationally) in global health issues.
From distinguished global health speakers to large non-governmental organization representatives to international medical students, this weekend will bring together the knowledge, inspiration, and ideas of people from around the world.
Any medical student who wishes to pursue international health as an elective/summer experience or a career should attend the national convention.
This year, we are also extending our invitation to pre-medical students interested in international health.
