Is USMLE accepted in canada for doing residency?

Hi every one,
I am IMG from India, completed post graduation and USMLE STEPS.
My question is is USMLE will be considered for doing residency in Canada(instead of canadialn licensing exam)?
What is the most likely pay for the residents?
