Hi. I graduated college 6 years ago. I went to a big-10 university where I didnt know any science professors well and at that time, I was not planning on going to med school. My question is... I did a 1-year post-grad pre-professional dietetic internship via Massachusetts General Hospital. (This is required to be a Registered Dietitian - of which I am). The program was hospital based but had some academic components (ie- papers, presentations). My question is, could my internship director, along with some of my precepors qualify as authors of a "pre-medical advisory committee" LOR???? I am running out of options and am hoping this will count. What do you think????

call the schools your interested in and ask them.

Most schools require two letters from science faculty or a committe letter. If the transcripts from your program are "science oriented" then I would think that the professors who taught the courses would qualify.
