I recently came upon an opportunity to read to hospice patients, but I'm not sure how exactly it would be classified. I know that the general sentiment on this forum would be 'if you can smell a patient, it's clinical,' but I'm wondering if this scenario would sort of deviate from that. Thanks

I've had students and applicants go to senior homes to play instruments or play games. This is similar to doing the same in churches or day care or Ronald McDonald Houses. Non-clinical volunteering to me.

Definitely clinical, and very admirable to. I have a high opinion of people who work with hospice
