Irish Intern Year 2017

Hello everyone

I'm an Italian medical student in my final year and I wish to apply to the Irish Intern Year. I read on the internet that winning a position might be rather difficult for a non-Irish despite being an EU citizen.

Does anybody know anything about it? Is this the right forum to talk about this issue?
