interview scheduling - how much difference does it make?

if I got an interview invite today for example, how much difference would it make to schedule the interview this month versus middle of next month? also is this suggested, or would it be a rush to have it done next week. Let's say my candidate stats are average.

All pre-Dec interviews are "equal" because everyone competing for the same number of spots. Another word, it would not make a difference in your case.
