Another interesting article some of you guys might want to pick up is a recent article by JAMA (honestly don't remember which one, but here is a discussion of it in Allo: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?p=7306474&highlight=JAMA#post7306474)

15% of the total cost of healthcare (or even less) is physician salary. Profit oriented? Think again.
Maybe not for doctors, but you can bet your ass that the pharmaceutical industry, insurance companies, and hospitals are focused on the bottom line.

He's a medmal lawyer. His career is to sue negligent doctors, and show juries that patients are being bilked. If he had a pro-doctor stance, he'd be out of business.
That explains it :shifty::shifty::shifty:.

Why does the public hate us so? Is it the money? Wouldn't you want the best you could buy when it comes to your health? What are the current/future patients of America thinking?
If I was the boss, I would double every doc's salary. (Vote for me)
