Inner eye muscle spasms

Any ideas on what might be causing my left inner ear muscles to twitch in sync with every syllable spoken by someone else on the telephone, when and only when, listening with my right ear. This is the only time that it happens and is so annoying. It does not happen when I listen with my left ear.

yeah me too! i have been getting what i can only assume are fasciculations of some tiny musculature in my ear (stapedius?). doesnt really do anything but creep me out though
