My school did a not so great job at teaching immuno during MS1 (though it was just general principles of immuno), and I hear that it's pretty important to know immuno well for path related stuff during MS2.

Any recommendations on what to read/study lightly so that I can refresh some of those topics before MS2?

EDIT: heard Immunology Made Ridiculously Simple was an easy yet thorough book to get through, anybody have experience w/ that book?

"The Immune System" by Peter Parham is a solid reference text.

If you need a book, then Lauren Sompayrac How the Immune System Works.

But I think FA + UWorld are enough.

How The Immune System Works is pure gold. It's 150ish pages of conversational text that you could probably read in 2 days pretty easily. Read that and you'll be set.

Second and third How the Immune System Works. The only issue is that it doesn't cover the immunodeficiency states very comprehensively. UW has some solid charts comparing them though and you cobble the rest together with FA.
