In case you didn't notice, UW updated their self-assessments to consist of 40 question blocks. The updated metrics rolled out today and, surprise, they make a helluva difference (232 -> 251).

2 weeks out for me. Stay strong, friends.

I took this as a pre-dedicated assessment and received a 180. Then after the change, my score went down to a 179.

Anyone know why this happened?

I just took UWSA today- 243; would like to know how reliable this is. I took nbme 18 a few days ago and got 232- so it's a big jump but not insane. I also tend to better on harder exams with nicer curves than easier exams with stringent curves ( I make really dumb mistakes)

I mean, if you do the math, the new scale seems accurate, at least in theory. Given the average on UWSA1 of 61.5% (=230) and an expected SD of ~13% (=20), my new UWSA1 score is right where I would predict from those numbers.
