I am a retired doc and was over at the physician only sites and posted questions. I got opinions from ortho, neurology, endocrinology, opthalmology, and many other specialties. I was surprised that there were no opinions from podiatrists. I looked up the guidelines and discovered that they do not permit you chaps from participating in doctor to doctor chats. Therefore, out of frustration posted this here. You fellows should get with the program and participate in physician discussions at the physician sites if you want to think of yourselves and be thought of as physicians at all. I got some helpful advice from many diverse medical specialists, none of them were foot docs.

TE=Ferocity;13099847]If this is the level of maturity of podiatrists it is obvious why they are not allowed to converse online with physicians. Thank you for reminding me why podiatry is not considered a medical specialty at the physician only site. I see that you are a student. I would expect a modicum of decency, yet this ridiculous picture is insultin

Please post a link to the "Site" such that we can begin evaluating it's content for participation. As they say in your Galaxy, "Thanks".

Don't mind the Younglings here. They can get a little feisty at times.

Agreed. Unfortunately, there have been many in the past who have posted similar types of posts. However many of those posts were simply intended to stir emotions. As per Wookie's post, please let us know the site referenced so we can see if participation is possible.

I do have one question for Cizzen. You stated that you had a neuroma question and received advice from many different specialists, but you were surprised there were no podiatrists. Now that you have found this site, can I ask why you decided to mention that podiatrists had no presence on the prior site you visited and were not allowed to participate, yet you never actually asked for our advice about neuromas.

Now that you've "found" us, why not ask us?

That is why you are one of the Masters, Master PADPM. That thought had not even occurred to me. Well done!

That's a fair enough question. Actually I sort of self-diagnosed using the Internet and sought confirmation from my peers on the physician web sites. After discovering many perspectives from multiple physicians I noticed that no podiatrists could post on those sites. I called an old friend a retired podiatrist whom I did not want to bother, and he suggested that the absence of podiatry among specialties on physician sites has been a sore spot, and he suggested bringing it to the attention of students, and suggested this site. I agreed to take the time to post here in exchange for an informal visit. I hope this answers any questions.

FYI, medical advice on these forums are a violation of TOS. It is OK to discuss medical topics "at large" but please refrain from personal advice.

This post screams of silly troll. No "old friend retired podistrists" are worried about online presence on a random website. I promise.

I am a sad Wookie. It seems the initial impressions of your post were accurate. The only way to reverse this is to post a link to these "sites" as initially requested. If you don't comply, I have no choice to believe the negative Force surrounding you. Are you a Sith?

I am really impressed/jealous of your ability to have everything spoken in terms of the force. Or maybe the fact that you are able to add a star wars twist to everything is a testament to the genius of George Lucas.

Also, I think there is a Sith in my Pod school. He consistently wears black scrubs.

Haha, thank you Young Padawan(?). That is quite a compliment.

Many lessons can be learning from the teachings of the six documentations concerning a certain time period in my Galaxy's history. The history is not altogether accurate, but the lessons stand just the same.

That being said, through my research of this Galaxy, there are two other type documentations here that also teach many worthwhile lessons. One such documentations concerns an Italian family's trials, the other is a documentation concerning, well, nothing. I find this one rather comedic, but also quite poignant.

I have also found that in this Galaxy, whom I would consider Sith have many faces and many battle garbs. Be wary of ALL surrounding you.
