Okay heres the deal I have a really crapy GPA 2.40, but I did great on the DAT. My scores are as follows
Academic Avg 19
Total Science 20
PAT 20
Bio 19
Ochem 21
Gchem 23
Reading 17
Math 16

I have countless hours of volunteer experience in a dental office. For community service I started a Foundation.... everything else is perfect, its just a really bad GPA.

Now my question is do I have a chance in getting into a dental school?
What do I do to increase my chances?

Honestly, that GPA makes it tough. Maybe you should try to bring it up and reapply.

postbac, graduate school, something, anything, to raise your GPA.. that's it. with a 2.39, to be truly honest, you don't have a good chance of being accepted. congrats on your DAT score, that will help. but for now, focus on getting the gpa up.

Though it may sound harsh, and it is, your chances will increase with your gpa. Go back and take some science courses and gpa 'padders' - have fun with the courses you select. You do have good DAT scores, but that gpa is really going to hurt your chances, but you can turn it around.
