Could someone please explain to me why hyperacute organ rejection is considered to be type II hypersensitivity reaction while an Acute transplant rejection is considered to be type IV hypersensitivity reaction?

Thanks in advance!

Hyperacute is type II because the recipient has antibodies against the transplanted tissue.

Acute is type IV because recipient T cells recognize foreign MHC on the transplanted tissue.
