Hello fellow SDNers,

I got accepted into dental school recently in Spring of 2019(yay!). However, I was wondering if it is too late to apply for the HPSP navy dental scholarship. It is highly recommended that you apply the fall before you start dental school. Is there anyone who has gotten accepted after this suggested deadline? Also, does anyone know the average acceptance rates? I've heard that around 40-50 people get accepted so correct me if I'm wrong :) if anyone wants to chance me, I have a 3.52 GPA and 21 AA.

Its too late for a 4 year scholarship.

You can apply for a 3 year scholarship, depending on how many are available.

As long as you don't have any major health issues i think you have a shot.

3 year navy get awarded to the 4 year applicants who weren't selected (at least when I applied two years ago). So actually, if you miss the 4 year you miss the 3 year.

Air Force or Army are your options now.
