The prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Institure (HHMI) Research Fellow Program, in partnership with SIR Foundation, now seeks to recruit a second HHMI scholar for preclinical research in Interventional Radiology. In essence, the fellowship gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a year of dedicated research at a academic or research institution in the US or abroad. With joint funding from HHMI and SIR Foundation, the scholar would have exposure to leading researchers in the field and have support from prominent physician-scientists from around the world. They would also become part of the unique and prestigious HHMI alumni group, with many distinguished members.
