Help current and future medical students!

If you were a US medical student during the 2019-2020 school year, this survey is for you.

Researchers at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) want to understand more about communication between students and their medical schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. We also want to know about your stress level and how you are coping with medical school during these difficult times.

If you choose to participate, you will be asked to respond to an online survey at your convenience, but before December 31, 2020 using your personal computer or smartphone. This survey will work best on a computer and will take approximately 30 minutes of your time.

The results of this survey will help medical schools communicate better with their medical students in future emergency situations. Further, medical schools will be able to better understand how critical communication efforts affect their students. Please share this survey link with others, as we would like all medical students attending US institutions during the 2019-2020 academic year to be represented. Any questions or comments can be directed to the Principle Investigator, Jacqueline Hirth, PhD, MPH by email at: [email protected]. The UTMB Institutional Review Board has approved this study.

Please access the survey at: Medical School Communication with Students, Stress and Coping

Thank you and stay healthy!
