Hard to find this data

It’s going to be highly variable, from 200k - 3M+. You aren’t going to get good data on such a niche field

As noted, it’s hard to say, and there’s a lot of factors. First, you’ll have to actually find a job. There aren’t many young derms straight out of fellowship doing 100% cosmetics from the start. They’ll often have to supplement with general derm clinic while building a patient base. While there’s certainly some patients that want to see a fellowship trained cosmetic derm, there’s also just as many that want their Botox for $6/unit and they don’t care who does it. In my city, they advertise PAs, NPs, RNs and ****ing NDs doing Botox. Not to mention every Gyn/FM/IM etc doc that did a weekend course and wants to do Botox also. Lots of competition, especially in larger cities.

Assuming you do find a job out of fellowship and the patients to treat, you also have to account for cost of product. One syringe of filler will be like $500-1000 depending on the product, which sounds like great money until you realize 30-50% of that is cost of the product. The n oney is still decent if you have the volume and can be efficient, but if it takes 45 mins to do the consultation and all the hand holding and then the injecting, you could see 5+ other gen derm patients in that same time for similar billing.

You won’t starve, and even general derms on average do better than most specialties.
