Are there "easy" spots to get into, like community programs or something if all you want to do is optho? I was talking with an ophthamologist yesterday, and she made it sound like a lot of fun so I was thinking that I should consider it. Can someone tell me if I would be competetive enough to match too? I got straight B's during my pre-clinical years, research that never went anywhere in cardiology (never got started), 230 on step I, and so far, 2 B+'s in peds and ob/gyn. She is over at Hopkins and she told me that even there, they have people who are klutz's with their hands and pick non-surgical specialties.
