Help with finding the Job Name

I'm currently a pre-optometry student writing my personal statement. During one of my shadowing experiences, I learned about a job where representatives from eyewear manufacturing companies would travel to different optometry businesses and advertise their eyewear to business owners. I was told the name of this job but I forgot.

a Sales Representative? In school, we had reps from Heine, Keeler, etc. come in to advertise their products that we would be using in lab and clinic.

I believe it is called a curator? I'm not entirely sure.

Drug reps, pharm reps, eyewear reps, sales represenatives. Don't call anyone in the industry a curator.
