Hi everyone,
This has been a tough decision for me to make but unfortunately I am running out of time to decide. I'm debating between the following 3 schools for my undergraduate education (plan to apply to MSTPs in the future):
UC Irvine with Regents' Scholarship and Honors program: roughly $30k per year
Scripps College with scholarship: $53k per year
Emory University with small scholarship: $65k per year
Obviously I want to save my cash so I'm leaning towards Irvine. Emory wins in terms of prestige and private college resources but the money is over double that of Irvine. Scripps is more of an in-the-middle option, but it's relatively unheard of and has a limited amount of research since it's a liberal arts school with a teaching emphasis. Not sure I'd fit into the campus culture, either. But at least my rec letters and GPA would be stellar.
Thoughts?
