I just took my fire and life safety educator 1 test and mod 1 test and found out I passed them both!!! so Now I am NPQ Certified in:

HAZMAT awareness
Fire and Life Safety Educator 1
Emergency Service Fundamentals

I can't wait to get final NPQ certified firefighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats SMW!! I don't know too awefully much about firefighting but it sounds good!! you sound excited and proud, so I am proud of you too!!

PS any word about your waitlist for EMT (I?) class? I sure do hope that works out for you too? Also, don't know too much about the school that you applied to for your emt class but perhaps you could update your application? Would this new cert make you more competitive?
