A very happy Diwali to everyone on the India forum. And Happy New Year to those who celebrate it around this time of the year.

PS. I still wonder why different Hindus celebrate the new year at different times...would still like answers. I know this is technically the start of the new business new year...but how/why is that considered a religious new year for gujus? For example, my family celebrates it in the spring like most other Hindus, but its still not the same day for everyone.
