DIPs in the clear (hand OA on the USMLE will always have DIP involvement [Heberden nodes]).

No 'pencil-in-cup' deformities (psoriasis on USMLE).

Saliently I see 5th MCP ulnar deviation.

Agree with Transposony's assessment.

Rheumatoid arthritis of the hand. Characteristic features include diffuse OSTEOPENIA, marked LOSS OF JOINT SPACE of the carpal, metacarpophalangeal, and interphalangeal joints, periarticular BONY EROSION, and ulnar drift of the fingers. Other Xrays may show SOFT TISSUE SWELLING.
