Hi so, I have been getting mostly B+ and As. However, I was 0.41 points from a B in physio and now have a C+. Are my chances of getting into MD schools over? I still have one year left of my SMP. My current GPA is around 3.44 with the C+.

I can't sugar coat this...it's going to hurt. You may have luck with some DO schools, but I think that MD may be out of reach.
Thanks for your honesty. I appreciate it.

Sounds like the BU or Georgetown SMP.

I can definitely raise my GPA. Do you think MD schools are still attainable? Also, still have to take my MCAT. Will probably take it at the start of 2019. Looking to apply next year.

I would strive to raise the GPA above a 3.5. I think you would be okay at that point. Also, as I'm sure most would agree - the MCAT will be a huge part of your app as with all applicants. I'd imagine a 3.5 SMP (regardless of the transcript having a C) and a really good MCAT would open some doors. A 3.5 and a lower MCAT, probably close a few doors.

I'm not an adcom though, so, grain of salt!

Best of Luck!
