Hi,
I have been wondering the following for quite some time.....:

I live in Canada and my university grades on a percentile basis (raw percentile)....

I was wondering how is a 4.0 GPA determined?
I have heard many ways, and am not sure what is "standard" by amcas.
Is it that if all of your marks are over 80% then your GPA=4.0?
Thanks!

A 4.0 would be like having an A average in EVERY single class.

Eg. if your school holds 93 as an A, then you must obtain a 93 or above in EVERY single one of your classes.

an 80% would be either a B (=3.0) or a B- (=2.7). A 93% or 94% =4.0.
