Good idea to take PCAT in Sept 2014? I'm a sophomore now so I would be taking it my first semester junior year then applying for the 2015 fall semester. I would have the whole summer to study, but I'm mostly concerned with the pre-reqs going into the PCAT. After my sophomore year I would have taken:
1yr of general bio
1yr of general chem
1yr of organic
1yr of anatomy and physiology
calc I
probability and stats
Would this be enough to get a good score on the PCAT? I know microbiology is on the PCAT and I won't take that until my junior year, along with other pre-reqs for pharmacy school, like physics and biochemistry. Also would my application be strong enough? I have a 3.9gpa, work at a surgery center (so kind of a major related job), volunteer at a inpatient pharmacy, and just started getting involved in research projects with professors here at my school.
