.After completing the first semester at China Medical University I look back and see myself and my classmates and reflect upon how we have grown as people. Not only are we in a new environment and surroundings, but we have developed as a family as well as individuals. Our first semester was tough, yet our adjustment to the living conditions in Shenyang were not difficult, it is a well-developed city, and at times we forget that we are actually in China studying medicine. We are conveniently located in the middle of the city, only a few minutes from any amenities that we may need. The classes are challenging and the professors are helpful and willing to take time out of their busy schedules to help us outside of the classroom. Just remember that it will be an adjustment, however it is a short term sacrifice for the long term gain of becoming a physician. .
