Formating PS in ERAS

Had a question about the personal statement section. OK so I typed my PS on Word and then cut & paste to Notepad (saved as text format) then cut & paste from Notepad to My Documents on ERAS. Well in ERAS there were areas in which a red ? was placed on symbols that I used which were apostrophes (') and quotation marks ("). Now do the programs see the ?'s when they print my personal statement because that's going to look weird. I don't know how to correct it, it wouldn't make sense if I didn't use an apostrophe when I needed one in a word. So what can I do? I don't want to change my PS because I've already spent too much time on it and need to just send it off. Help!

Doesn't anyone ever use search anymore?

You can just (1) correct it in ERAS, or (2) save your document in Word as a .txt file before you copy/paste.
