For my research, I had 2 co-mentors. Is it okay if they co-sign LOR?

Can I get my research letter for ERAS co-signed by 2 people?

I have two co-mentors (one GI and one surgical) just because of the nature of the research I am doing. I am applying into Gen Surg, BUT I gave worked with the GI person for many years, whereas I've only been working with the surgical person for 6 months. I wanted to get one research LOR for ERAS and ask them to co-sign it. Is this okay?

Note: this would not be a clinical letter. All my clinical letters would be from surgeons.

Was a poll necessary for this? No. But I like polls..

Never heard of it. Why not just let the GI person write the letter? It is not unusual to have research mentors in other fields.

Surgeons like us. Usually.
