Florida State Optometry License Loophole?

Hi everyone,

I recently moved to Florida and I’ve been a practicing Optometrist for 11 years in Canada. I went to NECO and already took and passed the American boards in 2010. Florida is the only state that requires us to re take part 2 and 3 of the boards if you haven’t taken them in the last 3 years ! Does anyone know if there’s a way around this ??

Any luck in finding a loophole or did you have to suck it up and retake? I'll be moving to FL sometime this year as well. I've taken Part 2, waiting to take Part 3 in September.
