How significantly does fiber affect the absorption of dietary fats and fat-soluble vitamins?
For example, would a high whole-grain meal affect the absorption of essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins?
I've read a variety of opinions and asked different physicians but can't seem to find a conclusive answer. Some say it merely slows their absorption, others that it significantly decreases absorption and yet others report that their is no clinically relevant effect.
