How competitive are ophtho fellowships? Do DO's get spots with any regularity? Where can I find more info about this? Thanks.

This depends on the fellowships you are seeking. In order of decreasing difficulty (in my opinion b/c I have no data.)

1) oculoplastics
2) retina
3) cornea
4) glaucoma
5) pediatrics
6) uveitis, neuro-ophthalmology, ophthalmic pathology
