Noticing a lot of fellowship programs, particularly community based, ones with offsite BMT at larger academic centers
I would imagine inpatient BMT to be stressful and to add to that having to commute to and take call(?) for a new system seems like a recipe for stress/disaster.
Is my intuition correct? Is this a factor to consider when choosing programs?

My institution pays for an AirBnB in the area and you do not have to take call during that month. It almost seems more like an obervership than a real rotation which has its pros and cons, especially if you don't want to pursue further training in BMT.
