So I'm a MS3 trying to figure out my life from here. I had my sights set on another specialty and may still go that route. But I'm in a rural program at my school and have had some awesome preceptors who did full scope family medicine.
So through these rotations I've found that I really love doing OB stuff like delivering babies and procedures.
My questions for the physicians and residents in this thread are: how much does doing a lot of OB supplement FM income, What procedures can a FM doc do vs what only an OB can do (like hysterectomies etc), and just any other general opinions on this topic.
The other specialty i'm looking at is a total 180 from all this so i'm very torn on what I want my life to be.
