Hey guys. I just started medical school this month. I have been set on family medicine for years now so I see myself heading that direction. My wife has had a non-surgical rhinoplasty done and while I don’t necessarily plan on offering this as a FM doc, I have been impressed by the impact this had on her confidence.
I’ve often considered offering some cosmetic procedures. I would like to offer Botox, maybe some fillers, and perhaps some scar treatment things. Im not set on defiantly doing all of these but you get the idea.
Im curious— can a FM doc get enough training in doing some facial liposuction? Double chin? Underarm sag? If I keep it extremely limited to, say, those two areas for a limited pt population (middle aged, healthy women ), would that be a possibility?
Where could I get more training in the above procedures?
Thanks in advance.
