...but it seems like I can't find the answer anywhere, so I figure I'll ask here and get tomatoes thrown.

Orthopaedic surgeons - are they MD or DO? Or can they be either one? Is one better than the other? When I looked up MD, it mentioned muscoskeletal work, but I don't want to assume because assumption, well, we know what that does.

Thank you so much! I looked everywhere, but nowhere had a definitive answer - they just talked about the degrees, not what you could be with them. Finally, an answer! :D
