Extracurricular portion of PhORCAS

Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever heard of character limits on this portion of the PhORCAS...it says to expand on your experiences but I was wondering if anyone has heard from any RPDs if they want the explanations short and sweet (~250 words) or is more okay? I don't want to make the answers too long but I don't wanna skimp on anything else either.

I'd really appreciate advice.

Ditto. Also, how will the CV come into play now that the profile displays pretty much everything that we have done?

When I look at residency applications, keep the short and sweet - I only glance at the CV - use bullet points, mostly your extracurriculars are only used as a talley sheet to use our scoring tool. The longer it is, the less likely I am read to read through all the fluff. When I have to review 50-60 applications, fluff looks like BS
