this may be a stupid question..but here goes..does your med school dean's office automatically forward a copy of your med school transcript to the ERAS post office? or are there additional forms or requests that you need to fill out?

Your school follows rules like HIPAA for your transcript. Similar to how a patient has to sign a release form for you to get their medical records from another hospital, your school cannot release your transcirpt without your written approval. You have to sign a release form to authorize your school to submit your transcript to ERAS. You can do this at your academic records office.
