ERAS: can letter writers start uploading their letters onto the ERAS portal?

I was told that the ERAS app officially opens on June 7th this cycle (2024). However, on the ERAS portal it says we can start listing our letter writer information. Does this mean that our letter writers can start uploading their letters, or do they also have to wait until June 7th? Thanks!

Once you list them you will be able to see if you can also invite them to write you a letter. If so, it will email them a link to upload their letter for you.

Yes, I had my first letter uploaded last fall. You can’t do anything with the letters at this point but they can be uploaded
