The eoSurgical 2017 Student Essay Competition is now open medical students worldwide.
Title: 'How will the 'internet of things' impact delivery and training of surgery? Are we heading for a global surgical reticulum?’
Prizes:

PLUS the opportunity to present your essay at the 8th National Undergraduate Surgery & Trauma Conference, Edinburgh Student Surgical Society on 4th March 2017 at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the opportunity to have your essay published in Res Medica.
2nd: eoMicro take-home microsurgical simulator (RRP £99).
3rd: Pre<Optimise gesture-interface software to enhance surgical psychomotor skills (RRP £30).
