Hi everyone,

I am an MS3 planning on going into ENT.
Right now I am doing the required clerkships so I don't get much chance to keep up with ENT topics. (Although my ears to perk up when I hear ENT cases once in a while).

I wanted to ask you all: what are some of your favorite resources (journals, websites) to keep in touch with up-to-date trends in ENT (new techonology, improved procedures, etc)? Sometimes when I am in the library I grab random ENT journals and skim through articles, but I would like to hear what are some ideal journals/resources for MS3 level reading.

Thanks!

CY.

Journals:

ENT Journal (definitely MS3 level of reading)
Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery
Laryngoscope
Annals of Otology, Rhinology, and Laryngology
Archives of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery

Websites:

http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/sections/ent/
(good site to see what ENT news the media likes to pick up and therefore what patients question us about at visits)

Aggernodi picked up all my favorites. There's also the UT-Galveston site that puts out their powerpoint presentations on-line. http://www.utmb.edu/otoref/grnds/GrndsIndex.html

the other thing to do if you get a chance is to try to go to the ENT conferences as much as possible at your school.

emedicine.com is another site that tries to stay fairly up-to-date for a textbook like discussion of topics.
