Question for the interventional pulmonology guys. Has anyone done endobronchial cryotherapy/ablation for bleeding related to idiopathic pulmonary htn. I have read about cryotherapy for tumors but not this.
Im an IR fellow and we were consulted for a bronchial artery embo on a patient that was having hemoptysis related to pulmonary htn and he apparently got these cryotherapies at an OSH. I had not heard of this type of therapy before so just wondering if its going on in the big academic centers.
Thanks
