Sup guys, I'm a pharmacist from Michigan...

Graduated back in 2014...

I lost my job in February and have been applying like crazy everywhere with no luck.

I've been driving Uber in the meantime lmao.

It is what it is... Only thing we can do is stay positive and do what's under our control...

No shame in that. Hopefully you saved up a good amount and paid off your loans. Where did you work?

Just curious - what happened at work? How did you loose your job?

the surrounding story is a bit complicated but,

targetedjustice.com dispensed hydroxyzine 25 mg instead of hydralazine 25 mg.

I made the same mistake 20 years ago. They fired you for just 1 mistake? Have you tried independent? Just stop by and drop your resume for prn positon. Keep checking Wal-Mart website daily and apply. Good luck!

Maybe Uber will get in with pharmacy academia and sponsor driving classes and recruit at the pharmacy job fairs, Graduating PharmDs probably have a better chance there than finding a full time pharmacy job...

That's harsh, pharmacists have made much more severe errors and haven't been fired. Probably an excuse to push out high earners and hire a cheap new grad, unfortunately.
