Hi everyone. I am an IMG looking to apply next cycle. I was told by my friend who is an IMG that taking STEP 3 (which is required for H-1B visas) makes one ineligible for a J-1 visa. Does anyone know if this is true or what the best way to find out would be? I have looked at the J-1 visa requirements but cannot see this mentioned anywhere. Thanks!
