If I am enrolled in a qualifying repayment plan, can I pay more than monthly minimum and still remain eligible for PSLF forgiveness, assuming I meet all the other requirements? Thanks.

No. Paying more than minimum loan payment does not affect eligibility.

why would you want to do this? Is it cuz just in case the program won't be around?

Just keep in mind that if you have extra money and really plan on using PSLF, you'd be better of paying off nonforgiveable debt first, like Perkins loans etc.

Your employer offers you student loan repayment as part of your contract, and you have to submit proof that you have allotted this money towards your student loans, for instance.
