Generally what percentage of DO students take the USMLE?

At my school, 275/305 (~90.1%) took step 1 this year

We have 391 in our class, so I'm not sure why it is out of 305 (maybe those who were board eligible?) But point is, most people took it.

This is an imperfect measure because DO's can take step in year three so the numbers may be exagerated. But 50-70% are estimates

Ya, they combine our Joplin & KC campus together into our collective "class" in which are ranked against each other

Thanks guys. I'm still trying to decide if I should take it or not since I'm already committed to doing a primary care pathway. I just feel like there's possible more downside than upside. If I do great I will still be going into family medicine.
