Medical Do post-bacc programs typically accept a few completed courses?

Hello, so I know that the answer to this question varies per school, but on average, are post bacc programs willing to accept a few courses from college that have already been completed?

For instance, say I have one semester of bio already, one semester of gen chem... would they make me redo that work, or would I be able to save some time spent in the program due to having already finished some of the classes?

I'm asking mainly because I'm graduating this semester, and have a few premed classes lined up (like 1sem of bio and 1sem of chem), but if I were to do a postbacc and they made me redo it.. then it feels like I'm kinda wasting my time. I guess if I did a DIY postbacc then what I'm doing is good, but I haven't fully decided on which one I'm gonna choose yet.

DIY post-bac will likely get you to where you need to be. What are your reasons for post-bac?

Are you asking about a career changer postbac program? I would ask the program. Have your syllabus ready.

If DIY is on the table, then doing a few courses would definitely help. In the case of a formal post-bacc, then yes you'll need to check on the individual programs.
