Difficulty in getting a job?

I'm going to have a nice amount of loans to pay off when i'm finally done w/ grad school equallying about 80-90,000. So, i was curious how difficult is it to get a job having an M.A. or M.S. in Counseling right after you graduate? The reason I ask is b/c once I graduate the grace period kicks in giving me about 6 months to find a job before I have to start paying off my loans and so I'm not sure If I should just consolidate my loans after I graduate or wait until the 5th month of my grace period and then possible consolidate. All help is appreciated, as always.
